Payments: Financing Options
We believe in making financial arrangements as convenient as possible
in our office. With this in mind, we offer the following payment
arrangements to our patients:
Full Payment Discount: Any patient who pays in full for services over
$1,000, on or before the day of treatment, receives a discount.
Specifically, the discount is 5% if paid by cash/check and
2% if paid by credit card. For your convenience, we
accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
Long Term Financing: We offer financing with CareCredit and the Dental
Fee Plan , allowing our patients to have
several
months of interest-free or low interest rate financing, paid
off over a selected number of months or years.
Policies: Insurance Filing
Our office is willing to work with most insurance companies.
This means that we will assist you in filing your insurance,
and will accept payment from your insurance company.
It's important for patients to understand up front the limitations
of their own coverage, and take responsibility for their
portion
of the bill not covered by insurance. For example, our fees
are not negotiable, as they've been determined based on
our
time, materials and overhead costs. Unfortunately, insurance
companies vary in their coverage amounts for various dental
procedures. It's not uncommon for a company to consider complex
(but necessary) procedures to be "over and above the
customary treatment". We do not consider our office
as usual and customary. As many of our patients say,
our office is far and above the "customary" in
treatment of our family of patients. In any case, we're
well-versed
in the latest coverage trends, and are more than happy to
discuss the particulars of your plan with you prior to any
treatments you may undergo.
Policies: Appointments
Our doctors and staff value your time. In order to provide
excellent care to all our patients, we request that all appointment
cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance. We also
respectfully reserve the right to reschedule any patient who
is fifteen minutes or more late for their scheduled time.
This ensures that you'll avoid being billed for our time and
preparation; it also enables us to work on other patients'
emergency visits. Patients with a habitual trend of last minute
cancellation will be discharged from the practice.
Policies: Emergencies
For after hour emergencies, please call the office for instructions
on how to page the doctor on call. If you require a visit
after hours there will be an additional surcharge.
